Daddy took Ava to the pediatrician yesterday for her check-up and some vaccinations. We are doing an alternative schedule so even though she is almost 5 months she just got the first round of her 4 months shots. She'll go back in two weeks for the rest of the 4 mo vaccinations. Ryan said she was a tough girl and only cried for a second. And the really good news is her eating strike has not affected her record growth in the least bit! She weighed in at 17 lbs 7 oz and is now 27 in tall. She is still in the 97th percentile for height and weight. Dr. Acosta confirmed that she has reached and surpassed all of the milestones for her age range and requested that Ryan promptly take her home before he decided to keep her!
P.S. She learned to hold her own bottle this week! Don't mind the frightening flash eyes!
