Five Months!

Well the Peanut is five months old now. Her half birthday is just around the corner. At five months she is....

• Grabbing at EVERYTHING! Taking her places has become quite interesting as she wants to touch and hold everything. And then of course it goes right into her mouth!



• Sitting up unassisted for minutes at a time.



• Starting solids. She has tried rice cereal and bananas. This week we are going to try avocados.



• Pushing her self up on her arms when on her tummy. She also pushes her little bottom up. We are going to have a crawler real soon!



• Scooting herself around in a circle when on the floor. We can no longer lay her down on just a baby blanket, because she scoots her self right onto the floor. We have to put down a quilt or a sheet.



• Outgrowing her 3-6 month clothes and her play mats. Time to pack them up. :(



• Teething. Her two bottom teeth are coming in. They have broken through the gum line and are visible. They are making her quite miserable.

Time continues to fly by. Our baby girl is growing so very fast!
