Our beautiful little girl turned 8 months old on Saturday. At 8 months Ava is:
- More active than ever. She doesn't sit still for a second and I am not exaggerating.
- Has left her famous army crawl behind and is crawling "for real" now. And man is she fast
- Losing her little baby fat rolls that I love so much. I guess it's a direct result of her insane fitness level. Seriously, she makes Jillian Michael's look lazy.
- Pulling up on anything, everything, and everyone.
- A chow hound! She loves to eat. I am starting to make her food a bit chunkier and we are giving her some fingers foods. She loves small pieces of banana and apple. She tired some bites of cantaloupe the other night and loved it. I really don't think we are going to find anything she doesn't like.
- In love with her Leap Frog activity table. She will hold onto that thing with a kung fu death grip if you try to take her away from it before she is done playing.
- Is saying Dada, Nom Nom, lots of /n/ and /o/ sounding words, something that sounds just like hi, and just babbling in general. This weekend we even heard Mama two times.
- Is cruising on the furniture and trying to transfer from one place to another. Needless to say we've had a lot of "fall downs" in our house lately.
- Is a super dare devil and is attempting to stand independently. Has done it on several occasions for about two seconds at a time. Crazy girl!
