What a busy and exciting month this has been for us! My blogging has kind of took a back seat but I knew when I started this that would happen from time to time. Our beautiful Ava Grace is now 11 months and 8 days old! In three short weeks we will be celebrating her 1st birthday! Unreal. At 11 months she is keeping her mommy and daddy on their toes. Her talents include but are not limited to:
- Understanding the word no, even if she doesn't always obey it
- Saying mama, dada, dog, woo-woo (for what a dog says)
- Waving hello and goodbye
- Eating lots of solid food and eating what she likes best on her tray first
- Putting toys in and out of containers
- Walking longer distances and becoming more stable
- Understanding some simple one step directions (which is more than some of my kindergarten students can do!!!)
- Dancing in a variety of ways
- Fake coughing and clearing her throat
She is entertaining to say the least! It's been so much fun watching her personality develop into the sweet, comical baby that she is!
Along with Ava's 11 month-day we are celebrating the fact that we will be having another baby this August and that Ryan got a new job! A job which will allow me to do the job of my dreams....stay at home with my babies! We are blessed, blessed, blessed!
